The School Day

We have high expectations of attendance and punctuality and expect your child to arrive promptly at the start of the school day. 

Pupils who  arrive at school after the official start of the school day are recorded as late and will be monitored by the Senior Attendance Officer. 

Children must be collected on time at the end of the school day. All late collections are monitored by senior staff and the Academy.

Our gates open at 8.45am and the school day starts at 8.55am. The school day ends at 3.30pm. This meets the government requirement of 32.5 hours per week.​

The school day is divided into two sessions:

Year 3 and Year 4 - Morning:  08:55am - 12:15pm     Afternoon: 1:15pm – 3:30pm

Year 5 and Year 6 - Morning:  08:55am - 12:00pm     Afternoon: 1:00pm - 3:30pm 

The school day is arranged as follows:

Any child who is late must report to the School Office with their parent.
